I finished grad school in August 2008. After finishing, I suddenly found myself with a lot of time on my hands and I needed to focus my energy and attention on completing new projects and fulfilling personal goals. In the beginning of 2009, I set an ambitious goal to lose 65 pounds in 12 months (weight packed on during grad school). I lost 65 pounds in 7 months! I conquered that goal with flying colors and, once again, found myself looking for a new goal, hobby, or just about anything constructive to fill my past time with. I decided to turn my attention to photography! The last half of 2009 was busy to say the least. I spent a lot of my free time building my client base, my portfolio, my business, and my website. I took some awesome photos in 2009. I’ve rounded up some of my personal favorites to display here. I hope you enjoy!
