I’ve designed my prices and photo packages to meet the needs of people seeking affordability and quality. Many photographers will only provide their clients with low resolution images (proofs), containing a watermark, and charge you an extra fee to purchase the actual high resolution, print-size photos. I believe that people who spend hundreds of dollars on professional photos should get more than just proofs from their session. I provide my clients with high resolution photos, without my watermark, so they are free to print them, frame them and share them with friends and family. My photo packages, detailed below, come with a specific number of high resolution photos that are yours to keep and print. This is a huge cost savings to you! Why pay me $30 for an 8×10 photo when you can get it printed at Wal-Mart for $3 or less? Like most people, I also desire affordability and a good value!
Portrait Packages
Basic Package (Headshots) – $75

Gold Package – $300
- 2-3 hour session

- Unlimited outfit changes

My prices include my time during the photo session, time spent editing your photos after the session, talent, local travel costs and materials. I will select the photos of you I wish to clean up. I’ll let you see the proofs of what I’ve selected 7 days after your session date. You will then be able to select your favorite photos from the collection of proofs. You will have 14 days to do so. I will send you a DVD containing the photos you have selected in high-resolution (JPEG format) 7-10 days after you’ve made your selection. Once I have edited your photos, I will not edit them again. I will not provide you with the RAW images (master files) unless you purchase them for an additional fee (see A La Carte prices).
Deposit
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to book a photo session (make sure the date/time you have in mind is available before making a deposit). The deposit will only be refunded due to inclement weather or a medical emergency. You may cancel your photo session 48 hours in advance for all other reasons and I will apply your deposit towards a rescheduled session. The deposit is deducted from the price of the package you select with the balance due on the day of the session. For example, if you select the Gold Package ($300 value) and pay the $50 deposit, the balance due on your session day is $250.
Payment
The $50 deposit can be paid using a major credit card or bank funds through PayPal. You do not need an account with PayPal to make a payment. PayPal charges a small fee for transactions. If you prefer not to pay this fee, you can send me a check for the deposit (please contact me for further payment instructions if paying by check). I accept cash or check for the balance due on the day of your session. You may also pay in full by selecting a portrait package in the drop down menu, below, and clicking ‘Pay Now’.
A La Carte Prices
Additional Time – $30
- 30 minute increments
Additional People – $25/person
Additional Photos – $15/photo
If you would like to purchase additional photos (not included with your selected package), you can order them for an additional fee. Additional photos ordered will be edited, in high resolution and will not include my watermark.
Portrait Collection (Untouched JPEGs) – $200
You receive all the untouched, high-resolution JPEGs from your portrait collection on DVD(s).
Portrait Collection (Enhanced JPEGs) – $550
You receive all the edited, high resolution JPEGs from your entire portrait collection on DVD(s).
Portrait Collection (RAW Images) – $1000
You receive the actual high resolution, unedited RAW images from your entire portrait collection on DVD(s) along with a release of my copyright. This means you are free to do whatever you want with the photos I take of you.
Travel – prices vary
I will travel within a 30 mile radius of my home location (Alexandria, VA) free of charge. Extra travel costs will accrue for travel outside a 30 mile radius of my home location. I am available to travel out-of-state; however, you will be responsible for my travel and lodging costs (e.g., flight, train, rental car, hotel, etc.).
Wedding Prices
For prices on wedding packages, please contact me. Wedding packages start at $1,500. A $750 non-refundable deposit is required with the remaining balance due on the day of the wedding.
Event Prices
Having a party, family get together, or special event? Contact me for my prices. Event packages start at $500. Prices vary based on the number of people attending your event, event hours, commute, and materials involved. A $350 non-refundable deposit is required with the remaining balance due on the day of the event.
Contract
I will send you a contract with a model release for review and signature prior to the photo session. The release grants me permission to display your session photos on my website and on other promotional material(s) for my business. You should carefully review the contract, sign it and give it to me before the session.
Promotional Material
I like to showcase some of my best photos by publishing them online to promote my work. If you don’t want me to publish your photo(s) online, just let me know. I will absolutely respect your privacy.
